2Butter - 4.4 oz (125gms)
3Flour - 4.4 oz (125gms)
4Eggs - 2
5Vanilla essence - 1/4tsp
6Cocoa powder - 2tbsp
7Milk - 3tbsp
Method of Preparation
Preheat oven to 180 ° c.
Beat the butter and sugar together. Then add eggs one at a time mixing well after each addition.
Fold through the flour, milk, and vanilla extract until the mixture is smooth.
Divide the mixture into three bowls. Mix the cocoa powder into the mixture in one of the bowls. Add another color of your choice into the second bowl. (Here I am using green color). Leave the third mixture plain.
Take one spoon each of the three mixtures and dollop into the cupcake liners alternatively.
Take a skewer and swirl around the mixture to create a marble effect.
Bake the cupcakes for 20-25 mins or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Always keep the ingredients at room temperature. You can add 1 or 2 tablespoons of milk if required.
