Ingredients
2Butter - 4.4 oz (125gms)
3Flour - 4.4 oz (125gms)
4Eggs - 2
5Vanilla essence - 1/4tsp
6Cocoa powder - 2tbsp
7Milk - 3tbsp
Method of Preparation
Step 1:
Preheat oven to 180 ° c.
Step 2:
Beat the butter and sugar together. Then add eggs one at a time mixing well after each addition.
Step 3:
Fold through the flour, milk, and vanilla extract until the mixture is smooth.
Step 4:
Divide the mixture into three bowls. Mix the cocoa powder into the mixture in one of the bowls. Add another color of your choice into the second bowl. (Here I am using green color). Leave the third mixture plain.
Step 5:
Take one spoon each of the three mixtures and dollop into the cupcake liners alternatively.
Step 6:
Take a skewer and swirl around the mixture to create a marble effect.
Step 7:
Bake the cupcakes for 20-25 mins or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Tips
Always keep the ingredients at room temperature. You can add 1 or 2 tablespoons of milk if required.
