2Baking Soda - 1/2tsp
3Unsalted Butter - 4.5 oz (125gms)
4Powdered Sugar - 4.5 oz (125gms)
5Flour - 4.5 oz (125gms)
6Baking Powder - 1/4tsp
7Eggs - 2
8Vanilla - 1/4tsp
9Nuts - 1/4cup (chopped)
10Honey - 1tbsp
11Nutmeg, Cinnamon, Cardamon (powered) - 1tbsp
12Dates - 1cup (optional)
Method of Preparation
Mince the fruits in a machine or chop them and transfer them to a bowl.
Add little flour to the chopped fruits and keep aside.
Mix butter and sugar thoroughly.
Add eggs one at a time and beat well after each addition of egg.
Add fruits mixture and nuts. Mix well.
Add vanilla essence, honey, nutmeg, cinnamon, and cardamom (powered).
Last of all, add flour sifted together with the baking powder and mix lightly.
Baking time: 25 – 30 mins to 180 ° c.
