60th Annual Grammy Awards – 2018

60th Grammy Awards

On Jan 28th, 2018, the 60th Grammy Awards will be hosted by James Corden at a new venue, Madison Square Garden. This is the first time since the year 2003 that the award ceremony has moved to a new location.

This award show will recognize outstanding artists and compositions, and best recordings for the period 1st October 2016 – 30th September 2017. The pre-telecast show will be hosted the same day before the main ceremony starts.

The event particulars are:

  • Television or radio coverage – CBS
  • Most nominations – Jay-Z (8)
  • Location – Madison Square Garden, New York City
  • Date and Time – 28th January 2018 between 07.30 to 11.00 p.m (EST)

The awards are distributed in more than 32 categories ranging from General to Music Film/Video.

Bruno Mars, Kendrick, and Jay-Z head the nominations

Jay-Z tops the list with eight nominations for his album ‘4:44’. Bruno Mars and Kendrick Lamar has six and seven nominations respectively. Chris Cornell and Leonard Cohen are nominated for “Best Rock Performance”.
